Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday here in the states and we are about to celebrate it but it's also a great time to grab your girlfriends and celebrate a FRIENDSGIVING!

I love Thanksgiving because it’s a time to get together with family and friends, and reflect on what truly makes you happy. It’s a time to be grateful, to express that gratitude to the loved ones in your life. For me, Thanksgiving is like Christmas without the presents. Of course, everyone likes giving and receiving fun things and Christmas brings its own special joy. But for me, the time we have to share with one another is a gift in itself. “Your presence is your present” is the best way I can sum it up.

Not only do I love the opportunity to reflect and be grateful, but I love Thanksgiving food. It’s warm, tasty, filling, and satisfying … and not just down to the tummy, The smells that surround this holiday make me so happy. I don’t know if it’s how great the food actually tastes, or the memories that this food conjures up. Either way, I feel that a Thanksgiving meal is good for the heart, the soul and the tummy.

If you are going to enjoy all of the above with your nearest, dearest and chicest besties then you need a Chic Thanksgiving Table Scape for the gals to gather around.

We decided to step-away from the traditional thanksgiving table scape and bring you gals something whimsical and feminine but with all the perfect little touches to bring the warm and fuzzies. And the great news is you don’t have to spend a fortune! We practically purchased everything from Amazon … delivered right to out front door.

We chose rose golds, bronzes, natural elements like basswood chargers to bring in some earthy texture and gives the table scape a more magical or whimsical feeling. We also used pine garland with twinkle lights (which is perfect because it’s trans seasonal so you can use it for Thanksgiving and Christmas!) We opted for crisp white flatware. Pink tinted wine glasses and votives for candles with sparkly sequinned napkins. The floral arrangements we made ourselves with a mix of flowers from our home garden and some from Trader Joes.

We used a two tiered cake stand as a centrepiece with some delicious homemade vegan desserts for later and my favorite and final element are the party favors left at each family members place setting.

These are so simple to make but a thoughtful extra touch … these were just simple brown to-go boxes with a love and thanks tag filled with a piece of homemade apple pie and a message inside of why that person is so important to us.
