Morning Motivation: Coffee Cup QuotesSeptember 25, 2017
While The Soul Sisters love to take everyday adventures, it’s not every day that you get to travel to the beautiful Enchantment Resort
in Sedona, Arizona.
Sedona is a desert town nestled between breathtaking rock formations and beautiful pine forests. Considered by the Native Americans to be sacred land, Sedona is a place where many come to recharge, reset and find themselves all over again. The healing and spiritual energy in Sedona is unlike anything we have ever experienced. So long as you are open to ALL the possibilities of your journey, we say expect the unexpected.
And it doesn’t get easier to take it all in than at The Enchantment Resort
there, a five-star luxury property with all the bells and whistles. The service is outstanding, the food impeccable and the scenery is beyond anything we have been surrounded by before.
Well, given our busier than busy lives, we were looking for a spiritual journey, a chance to relax and and experience something new along with a little adventure. For us, Sedona was the perfect choice. We packed the car, hit the road, and embraced the unknown.
If you are lucky enough to visit Sedona, here our TOP 3 recommendations of what to do:
Mii Amo Spa treatment
The Mii Amo Spa
is located on the Enchantment Resort
premises and their amazing treatments are the ultimate way to indulge and relax. The list of services include regular relaxation massages, body wraps, energy balancing, hypnotherapy and spiritual experiences and exploration. The Spa well help tailor your treatment just for you. So unbelievably special!
Hiking to the Energy Vortex
when you’re in Sedona hiking is a MUST. The tracks range for all levels of practice. No matter your direction, the views at the end are simply awe inspiring. And to sit at the top of these mountains and view the world from above is very humbling, reminding us that we are mere small players in a huge world with a purpose greater than we could ever imagine.
What is an energy vortex? We wondered the same thing. An energy vortex is considered a special place where you can actually feel energy entering into or projecting out of the earth’s plane. The energy moves in a spiral up and down. Vortexes can be experienced at many sacred sites across the globe like the great Pyramid in Egypt, Machu Picchu in Peru and Ayers Rock in Australia. The energy is considered very powerful. Native Americans believe that spiritual transformation can occur more quickly because of these vortexes.
Whether or not you buy into the Vortex story, we know for sure that it is a draw card for people who travel to Sedona and if you experience nothing else other than the beauty and tranquillity surrounding these energy vortexes, you have already won.
Seriously, if you are going to spend your moolah on ANYTHING, we say do this. We booked a “doors off” helicopter tour over Sedona with Sedona Air Tours
and it was some of the most incredible adventure either of us have ever known. We had an amazing pilot – shout out to Nolan! His knowledge of Sedona and its natural wonders was incredibly interesting, fun and he got us up close and personal with some of the most spectacular rock formations we have ever set our eyes upon. Even with the sound of the helicopter blades above, there is something incredible peaceful about being in the sky, looking down and around this ancient landscape.
That’s all just for starters. There is so much more to do in this beautiful spot. There are spectacular vineyards, amazing food which we did get to taste test and if you are open to it, amazing spiritual guides who will lead you on an incredible journey, unveiling the history of the land and even more about yourself.
The very best part about this trip is that we did it with each other! An adventure for the soul with your soul sister! Full of laughs, some tears, some OMG moments and even more laughs … we cannot wait to come back. Sedona has our hearts forever.
