Ahhh Spring … the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, flowers are in bloom and the skies seem bluer than they have ever been before.
Every year without fail it feels like spring has come just in time when I’ve needed it most. It lifts my mood and my spirit.
With this new shift in energy, spring always inspires me to start fresh. I am a big dreamer (my husband teases me all the time) but I know that every great success started out as a great idea. So, I say let those ideas free flow. Just remember to follow through.
Spring allows me to re-evaluate, re-assess and re-direct. I Spring clean all areas of my life … including my body.
Spring Clean your Insides
To Spring clean the body from the inside out you need to try and eliminate the intake of foods that contain these toxins and are hard for the body to process like caffeine, dairy, sugar and animal fats. Then increase your intake of naturally detoxifying foods.

But, If you haven’t cleansed before, I suggest you start off a little smaller. Starting off smaller means that you still cut out all of the foods that are harder for the body to process. That means no caffeine, dairy, sugar, booze or animal products (no meat). Instead fill your diet for the next 3-5 days with lots of fresh vegetables, low GI fruits, herbs and detoxifying spices. Put down the burger and fries and spring clean your insides.

Stay Hydrated. Increase your water intake. Drinking lots of water will help the elimination process of toxins through the kidneys. Also, consuming more fruit & veg increases your fibre intake. Increasing fibre without increasing your fluids can cause constipation. No girl wants that. So remember to drink up!
