DIY Beauty Queen: Magic MasksNovember 4, 2017
MERRY CHRISTMASDecember 25, 2017
Finding the perfect tree can be tricky for the holiday season. You want to capture the magic and spirit of the holiday season and have your family and friends get those old fashioned warm and fuzzies when they step inside your home but it doesn't have to be an expensive exercise.
I LOVE real pine tree's. The smell of pine screams 'holidays' but unfortunately I am allergic to them. So, we always have an artificial tree and those can get really costly quickly. Not to mention you add on all the decorations and the lights. It really adds up. But you don't have to purchase a new fancy tree every year to keep with the trends. This year we got creative and the result was a dreamy, magical holiday display.
Confession - we took an old bojankety tree that was on the FREE TO GOOD HOME TABLE from the set of Home & Family
. It had been sitting outside in the elements since our Christmas in July Special. It was a little faded, okay, it was a lot faded and it needed a good hose down to rid it of critters and creepy crawlers that had found themselves a home within it's branches but I took it anyway.
The next step was bringing this baby back to life. All it needed was a little love. We gave it a light dusting of snow spray and then got to decorating. Because of the faded, soft white christmas feel, we went with a rose gold, soft pink, white and silver color scheme. We are obsessed. It's so pretty! We got all our decorations online of course and found this great assorted pack of ornaments
Topped with a silver start our tree is a Pretty in pink perfection!
